My Shooting Style
I’m a natural light photographer. Meaning I use the sun as my light source, not a flash or light kit. This means outdoor sessions or an open space near windows work best for me.
Nature is my favorite backdrop. Mountains, trees, water, grass, etc. And we will use our environment and weather to our fullest extent during my sessions. Embracing the elements and nature will make our shoots together an experience and an adventure, and I believe that creates beautiful photos!
If you ever have any questions about how I approach my sessions for each individual subject, I encourage a video call before you book so you can be sure I’m the right photographer for you!

Vermont & New England are stunning, we don’t want that beauty to be lost in your photos, we wan it to enhance them!

My Editing Style
I would definitely describe my editing style as moody. I keep shadows and blacks in my edits and I don’t blow out images. I also love color. If you’re looking for monochrome I am not your photographer, and that’s okay! I choose to shoot in beautiful places and prefer to keep as much of that natural beauty as possible. That’s not to say I don’t make stylistic liberties, but I lean towards true color and make a strong effort to deliver you timeless photos.
I will also touch up small parts of photos like distracting background objects, teeth and blemishes. But I promise you will recognize your beautiful self when you get your final gallery!

My Story
Photography has been a long journey for me, starting in my youth with disposable film cameras. Since then I’ve upgraded a bit and have spent the past 6 + years constantly learning this craft, my style, and how to successfully photograph not just people and their environment, but the deeper emotions within and beyond.
In addition to being a photographer, I’m also a mom, a wife, and a broadcast meteorologist who spends as much time outside as possible.
